Abstract
In recent years, the spread of environmental crimes and its vital effects on natural and human life led to the emergence of green criminology as one of the important topics in criminal sciences. One of the important concepts in this branch of criminology is green victimization, which refers to the effects of environmental crimes and ways to prevent them. According to the criminologists of this field, due to their complex and multidimensional nature, environmental crimes are often committed by white-collar criminals, and due to the special conditions of this category of criminals, it is difficult for the guardians of criminal justice to discover the committed crimes and deal with them. The judge who issued the criticized verdict, using the doctrines of positivist criminology, considered the criminal type of the accused in the case to be in line with white collar criminals, and explained the irreparable effects of these people's criminal actions on the environment, and finally, the strict judicial response and the public participation of society in He has proposed to deal with the aforementioned crimes and prevent them. In this article, an attempt is made to express the issue that in Iran's criminal law as well as in international regulations and treaties, there is the necessary legislative capacity to protect the environment and deal with environmental crimes, so the criminal policy of the country, especially in the judicial and cooperative dimension, should be more serious about this.
